This site serves to provide useful information about the municipal government of the Town of Lake City, Colorado to citizens, seasonal residents, and visitors. This is the official website of the Town of Lake City. The Town of Lake City is a Statutory Town that is the county seat of, and the only incorporated municipality in, Hinsdale County, Colorado, United States. Our Mission The Town of Lake City protects, maintains and enhances our sense of community, historical heritage and mountain environment. Through ethical and professional leadership we provide economic, recreational and social opportunities. Board of Trustee Meetings The Board of Trustees of the Town of Lake City meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The workshop is at 6:00pm and the regular meetings are at 7:00pm at the Coursey Meeting Room located at 311 N. Henson Street.
