_New liquor license applications and renewals are brought before the local liquor licensing authority (Town of Lake City Board of Trustees) for approval.  They are then passed on to the State of Colorado for final approval.

Special events liquor license permits are approved only by the local liquor licensing authority (Town of Lake City Board of Trustees).
